Delivery Terms & Conditions

  1. Delivery Note: Bathroom Quarter will ensure that each delivery of the Goods is accompanied by a delivery note. This note will show the date of the Order, all relevant Customer and Bathroom Quarter reference numbers, the type and quantity of the Goods (including the code number of the Goods, where applicable), and any special delivery instructions.

  2. Delivery Location: Bathroom Quarter shall deliver the Goods to the location specified in the Order and confirmed in Bathroom Quarter’s written acceptance of the Order ("Delivery Location") at any time after Bathroom Quarter notifies the Customer that the Goods are ready.

  3. Completion of Delivery: Delivery of the Goods shall be considered complete upon the Goods' arrival at the Delivery Location.

  4. Delivery Schedule: Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate only, and the time of delivery is not of the essence. Bathroom Quarter contracts with third-party carriers to deliver the Goods. Once the Goods arrive at the UK port of entry, Bathroom Quarter will inform the Customer of the carrier's proposed delivery date ("Carrier’s Delivery Date"). Bathroom Quarter will use reasonable efforts to schedule the Carrier’s Delivery Date at a time convenient for the Customer, but this cannot be guaranteed. Bathroom Quarter shall not be liable for any delay in delivery caused by a Force Majeure Event or the Customer's failure to provide adequate delivery instructions or any other instructions relevant to the supply of the Goods.

  5. Liability for Non-Delivery: If Bathroom Quarter fails to deliver the Goods, its liability shall be limited to the costs and expenses incurred by the Customer in obtaining replacement goods of similar description and quality in the cheapest market available, less the price of the Goods. Bathroom Quarter shall not be liable for any failure to deliver the Goods if such failure is caused by a Force Majeure Event or the Customer's failure to provide adequate delivery instructions.

  6. Customer Charges: The Customer shall be liable for all demurrage, detention, and other charges levied by any third party for storage and delivery of the Goods, and the Customer shall indemnify Bathroom Quarter for all such charges.

  7. Failure to Accept Delivery: If the Customer fails to accept delivery on the Carrier’s Delivery Date, and such failure is not caused by a Force Majeure Event or Bathroom Quarter's breach of contract: (a) Delivery shall be deemed completed at 9:00 am on the third business day after the Carrier’s Delivery Date; and (b) Bathroom Quarter shall store the Goods until delivery takes place and charge the Customer for all related costs and expenses, including insurance.

  8. Non-Acceptance and Resale: If 14 business days after the Carrier’s Delivery Date the Customer has not accepted delivery of the Goods, Bathroom Quarter may resell or otherwise dispose of part or all of the Goods. After deducting reasonable storage and selling costs, Bathroom Quarter will account to the Customer for any excess over the price of the Goods or charge the Customer for any shortfall below the price of the Goods.

  9. Claims for Shortage or Damage: If the Customer believes there is a shortage or the Goods are damaged, they must notify Bathroom Quarter in writing within 48 hours of delivery by emailing hello@bathroomquarter.com. If no notification is received within this timeframe, the Goods shall be deemed to have been delivered undamaged and in accordance with the delivery documents.

(a) If short delivery occurs, the Customer shall not reject the Goods but shall accept the Goods delivered as part performance of the Contract.

(b) Bathroom Quarter shall not be liable for any claim of short delivery or damaged Goods unless a reasonable opportunity is provided to Bathroom Quarter to inspect the Goods before use.

  1. Liability for Short Delivery or Damage: Bathroom Quarter’s liability for short delivery or damaged Goods shall be strictly limited to the provision of any undelivered Goods or the replacement or, at Bathroom Quarter’s option, repair of any damaged Goods.

  2. Free Delivery Offer: Orders totalling £600 or more qualify for free delivery in select regions of the UK. Other parts of the UK may require a minimum order value of £850 or £1,200 to qualify for free delivery, depending on the location, see section 12 for more info.
